Howdy everyone!
Here recently I have been adjusting to the life that is high school, hence my long absence from my first post. Anywho, back to high school. I was pretty nervous about leaving my middle school where I was the big fish in the small pond, to high school where I am the little algae in the whole freaking ocean. There are A LOT of people at my school.
The main thing I was, and kind of still am, worried about was the older students. From what I've heard, high school is a pretty nasty place. The first day I was a nervous wreck! As we pulled up to the school in the morning I wanted to curl up in a ball in the back of the car and just stay there all day. Not to mention I was completely EXHAUSTED trying to adjust from "summer schedule".
Unfortunately I had forced myself from the vehicle and walked in the school and to my first class. At this point the main thing I was worried about was being able to find my classes because my school is humongous. Nonetheless I managed to find all of my classes and made it home safely. As soon as I got home that afternoon I passed out in my bed and took like a 3 hour nap... So for the past few weeks I have slowly been adjusting myself to this foreign land. Long story short, high school seems pretty ok. Feel free to share your high school experiences in the comments!
